SimWB uses the NightStar License Manager ('nslm') service to handle the licenses. The NSLM uses the unique system ID to validate the licenses. This system ID depends on MAC address amoung other things such as hard disk ID etc. When SimWB host (/usr/local/ccursim/bin/cfgsrv.sh) starts up it requests 'nslm' for license and proceeds if it acquires one.
