Prerequisites
Real-time host and Data logger
- Any Concurrent iHawk or ImaGen system
- Real-Time Clock and Interrupt Module (RCIM)
- Concurrent RedHawk Linux 4.1 through 6.x (32 or 64 bit)
- RedHawk Linux Frequency-Based Scheduler
- 500 MB disk space.
Control Center and Human-Machine Interface
- 1280x768 or higher screen resolution is recommended (1024x600 is usable in full screen mode)
- Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Linux (32 or 64 bit)
- 200 MB disk space
- Adobe Flash™ is required to play video on Linux.
SIMulation Workbench Toolkit for MATLAB
- MATLAB® version R2008b or later (32 or 64 bit)
- Simulink®
- Simulink Coder®
- Windows XP, WIndows Vista, Windows 7, or Linux (32 or 64 bit)
- 200 MB disk space
- Adobe Flash™ to play video.
Installing SIMulation Workbench real-time host
Follow the steps below to install SIMulation Workbench on the RedHawk Linux real-time host system:
- With RedHawk Linux Version 4.1 or later running, log in as root and take the system down to single-user mode:
- Right click on the desktop and select Open Terminal.
- At the system prompt, type
[RedHawk]# init 1
- Insert the Simulation Workbench installation disc into the CD-ROM drive.
- To mount the cdrom device, execute the following command:
[RedHawk]# mount /media/cdrom
- To install, execute the following commands:
[RedHawk]# cd /media/cdrom [RedHawk]# ./install-simwb
- When the installation completes, execute the following commands:
[RedHawk]# cd .. [RedHawk]# umount /media/cdrom [RedHawk]# eject
- Remove the disc from the CD-ROM drive and store. Exit single-user mode (Ctrl+D).
The SimWB server services will start automatically after being installed. Note that the following command can be used to stop, start, and restart these SimWB services:
[RedHawk]# /etc/init.d/simwb stop|start|restart
The SimWB software is always installed in the /usr/local/ccursim directory.
