The data logging server is started by the logsrv.sh script mentioned above. It listens for a TCP/IP connection from the data logging client logsend. The process logsend only establishes a connection to logsrv at test startup. The data logging server can be installed on a separate system from the real-time host when heavy data logging would impact the real-time performance of the real-time host.
